“I Am the Resurrection and the Life”

Today, we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

No other event in this fallen world has more power, which is why it is maligned by those who reject it.

Much of the world hates the idea of the Resurrection, but they cannot destroy it. One ought to question why the world still seeks to stamp out the fact of the Lord’s supreme sacrifice and His promise of eternal life.

It’s a promise that’s made freely to all people everywhere.

Who would wish to take away the Hope of the World?

A simple question with a simple answer.

Darkness exists in this world, triumphs for a while, and then is overcome.

That’s the Resurrection.

Today, 1,993 years ago, Jesus Christ proved that He is indeed the Way, the Truth and the Life.

It’s the greatest Gift to each and every one of us…and it’s free.
